Hazlehurst Studios will be having a ‘Get Creative Day’ to celebrate the first one of its kind, more information here, on the 2nd of April.
Throughout the day we will be encouraging you to get creative, show you how we get creative and how we have been creative in the past!
There will be some fabric dyeing, cyanotype making and a few other things to do, as well as chatting with the resident artists and having a nosey in their studios. You can find out about what workshops we already run, what we would like to do in the future and we will also be encouraging you to suggest ideas too.
Cake, Quiche and other refreshments will be provided.
Doors will be open 11-4pm, all our welcome, but please remember the access to the studios is up a flight of stairs. Also if the weather is nice (you never know), we will also be outside in the community garden area, a few hundred yards from the studio.
We will also be talking about our community garden project Old Town Bloomers and how you can help shape our ideas for that.
