Hazlehurst Workshop Programme
Hazlehurst Studios is a creative hub situated in the heart of Runcorn. We offer an affordable and likeminded environment for artists and makers in Halton. Hazlehurst currently houses 8 artists within our studios with expertise in a range of disciplines including Painting, Photography, Textiles, Printmaking and community art participation.
We also have a Community Room for hire,which hosts a brand-new A1 print press, as well as a variety of exciting creative workshops. Our workshop programme has been developed to create a wider experience of the arts for the community of Halton and offer courses that inspire individuals to learn and develop new skills.
The artists at Hazlehurst have a diverse range of skills and offer a comprehensive list of workshops, those listed are just a few examples. We work with anything from small groups to schools.
Workshops can be run from Hazlehurst or other venues, and can be two hours, half a day or a full day. Please get in touch for more information about booking and costs
Making simple cushions – shaped cushions, Making Aprons from Artisan to Cook apron with pockets, Calico shopping bags decorated with machine embroidery stitches, Making soft toys, Free machine embroidery, Batik, Silk Painting Felt Making, Lino Printing, Safe Etching, Collagraph Printing, Fabric Painting, Indigo Dyeing, Screen Printing, Cyanotypes, street photography and other tradiotional film techniques, Incense Making, Mandalas and Meditation

If you are a school or community group and would like to book something, then please get in touch. We can cater for all ages and abilities, at our location or at other venues.
Throughout the year we run workshops that cater to artists of all abilities, this includes photography, printing and textiles. Please keep an eye on our website and social media for more info.
