Welcome & About Our Events
Hazlehurst Studios is proud to be a vibrant creative collective. We actively support our resident artists, makers, and community partners by sharing and hosting their incredible projects across the entire borough—which is why you will see our events popping up in so many different venues and unique spaces!
Because these projects are independently run or collaborative community efforts, booking systems, registration requirements, and ticketing costs will vary from event to event. Please check the specific details for each listing below to secure your spot directly with the host.

June Special Events & Workshops
These are our one-off events, special workshops, and unique festival dates happening throughout June.
6th June: Pizza, Prosecco & Cross Stitch, The Lockdown Pub. Relaxed afternoon cross-stitching with Rosie Roo over pizza and prosecco. Paid event; booking must be made directly through Rosie Roo.
6th & 7th June: Hazlehurst Studios at Halton Fest, Runcorn Hill Park. Join the Halton Nature Watch launch! Try community cyanotypes with our Camera Collective, and lots more going on. FREE drop-in event.
11th June: 'Favourite Things' Youth Zine Project, Community Shop (Runcorn). FREE workshop for home-educated youth with Toni-Louise Carter! Design a zine about your favourite things to be riso printed. Funded by Alfred Shaw Trust (link to book)
13th June: Pottery Sessions with Woolyback Crafts. Enjoy hands-on pottery sessions with Woolyback Crafts. These sessions have been very popular and the easiest way to get in the know is to sign up to Woolyback Crafts Mailing List
17th, 19th & 20th June: Liverpool Architecture Festival Open Studio, Hazlehurst Studios. Peek inside our creative space during the walking tour of the Reconnecting Runcorn projects. Booking required via the LAF platform.
20th June: Pokémon Community Day with Dawnstar Gaming, Spike Island (Widnes). Join Dawnstar Gaming at Spike Island for Pokémon Community Day! Play, trade, and catch together. Get in touch with Dawnstar Gaming for more info.
21st June: Summer Solstice with Hedgerose Healing, Norton Priory. Celebrate with HedgeRose Healing and Myrriadd Dance at Norton Priory. Enjoy a wonderful evening of meditation, reflective moments, and immersive circle dancing (link to book)
27th June: Analogue Wonderland Big Film Photowalk, Halton. A massive celebration of film photography! Secure tickets (£10+) on Analogue Wonderland's website (link to book)
Our Regular Monthly & Ongoing Sessions
These are our core regular sessions, staple monthly meetups, and ongoing partner groups that run every single month at Hazlehurst Studios.
10th June Hazlehurst Book Club at Hazlehurst Studios. Discuss our book of the month. Reserve your free spot online. £3 entry fee payable on arrival covers refreshments. Everyone welcome! (link to book).
15th June Hazlehurst Urban Sketchers at Hazlehurst Studios. Bring your sketchbook for a relaxed morning of drawing adventures! Please note: Urban Sketching is usually on the second Friday, but this month it's on a Monday as a one-off at the studios to celebrate our new exhibition! FREE event (link to book).
18th June Hazlehurst Camera Collective: Darkroom & Developing at Hazlehurst Studios. Dive into photography with our Camera Collective darkroom session. Non-members must contact to arrange attendance (fee applies)
20th June Hazlehurst Snap & Social: LAF Shopping City. Walk, talk, and connect through photography. Eventbrite link coming ASAP; check our main online collection page for updates.
Ongoing throughout June
Dawnstar Gaming at Hazlehurst Studios. Weekly Dungeons & Dragons for adults and youth, plus fortnightly Warhammer sessions and various community gaming events all year. Contact Dawnstar Gaming to join.
