This time last year marked the end of our Arts Council England funded project "Runcorn Heroes." We commissioned 5 of our resident artists to run a workshop and produce a final artwork around the theme of Runcorn Heroes. The artists drew inspiration from many sources including Anglo Saxon warrior queens to the first female police women to the users of Halton Library themselves.
Halton Lea Library hosted this project offering not only a venue for the final exhibition but also a large research resource, and site for the residency sessions run by our artists.
